Frequently Asked Questions About Housing in Okanagan & Kootenay.
Fill out the Supportive Housing Registration (SHR) form and submit it to BC Housing’s Penticton office. You can email it to interiorregion@bchousing.org or fax it to 250-492-1080.
Costs vary by program. Transitional housing at 1033 Harvey House is $375/month or funded via CSC. Supportive housing rent is typically $400-$415 if receiving income assistance, or 30% of gross income. Shelter services are free.
Yes. Cornerstone Shelter welcomes couples and individuals with pets.
Residents have access to life skills coaching, employment preparation, wellness planning, peer support, and referrals to health services. Some sites provide meals. All sites operate on a harm reduction model.
